Why is  armour so expensive?

Armour is difficult and time consuming to produce, and the main cost is labour. Researching custom pieces takes significant academic skills. We give our crafts people a living wage to compensate them for their time and skills.

How can I make custom armour less expensive?

Do the work yourself. If you supply me with a source of quality research with a detailed specification you can save hours of my work which saves you money.

Why is it so difficult to order ?

Fitting armour to the human body is exceptionally complex, and once we have an idea of fit we then have to go into matter of the client describing what they want in a manner that can be understood and executed by the armourer.  A large amount exactitude at the ordering stage can help prevent upset at delivery time.


Do you ship overseas and to P.O. boxes?

Yes, we’ll ship your package anywhere that can receive packages from Australia Post. The cost is the Australia Post postage fee plus the commission rate for packaging. Canberra pickup can be arranged with no fee.


How is your customer service?

We have limited customer service due to being a very small shop and the fact that I work part time. There are generally three workshop days a week, and three email processing sessions per week, causing delays. All email will be processed - but make sure you have a clear subject line and quality content - don't be mistaken for spam. Texts are the best way to use the mobile phone number, and all unknown calls are screened - leave a clear message with your contact number when you call the first time!
